Prof. Ivo Petrov

Prof. Dr. Ivo Petrov is the Medical Director and Head of the Clinic of Cardiology and Angiology at the University Hospital Ajibadem City Clinic. He is a teacher, innovator and pioneer in the field of endovascular therapy in Bulgaria. He has three specialties – internal medicine, interventional cardiology and angiology.

Doctor Kamen Stoychev

Dr. Kamen Stoychev graduated from Medical University, Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated in 1997.
For 8 years he was the Medical Director of the Dr. J.S. Greenberg – Krasno Selo Branch – a clinic with American management. In addition, he is a former Secretary of the Association of Private Pre-Hospital Health Care Facilities, a consultant to the World Bank on the Labor Adjustment Strategy Project, and a host of the “Medical Review” program on Centrum Group TV.

Nevan McLeay: partner

Nevan McLeay is a business and marketing specialist.

Between 1989 and 2000, Mr MacLeay established and marketed his own brand of nutraceuticals, NFS Nutraceuticals, in Australia and New Zealand. Subsequently, Mr MacLeay sold his registered brand “NFS Nutraceuticals” to his New Zealand distributor Creative Energy Holdings Limited and became a consultant to All American Pharmaceutical and Natural Foods Corporation. He formed and developed an entire distribution network for the corporation in the EU as well as in other countries around the world – Japan, Australia, China, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.

Today, Nevan McLeay is involved in product development and distribution for Inkmed Ltd – therapeutic Food supplements and Membrane Technologies Ltd – Food supplements for athletes.

Assoc. Dr Ioannis Papatanassiou

Assoc. Dr. Ioannis Papatanassiou is an Associate Professor at the Department of Kinesitherapy at the Faculty of Public Health at MU – Sofia.

Education:

  • 1991 – Graduated from the Second Lyceum, Galati district, Athens, Greece;
  • 1993 – 1999 – acquired Master’s degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Thrace – Stara Zagora;
  • 2012 – obtained a second Master’s degree in Health Management and Health Economics at the National School of Public Health in Athens, Greece;
  • 2012 – acquired the educational and scientific degree “Doctor” in the scientific specialty 03.01.58: “Physiotherapy, Resortology and Rehabilitation”, defending a dissertation on “Study of the effects of group high-intensity interval and moderate-intensity prolonged cardiac rehabilitation model in patients with CHF” in Medical University – Plovdiv.

  • 2006 – Clinical resident at the Clinic of Early Rehabilitation of the University Hospital “St. Clinical Clinical Fellow in Rehabilitation Clinic at St. George’s Hospital – Plovdiv;

Prof. Georgi Popov

Prof. Georgi Popov, MD is a specialist in infectious and internal diseases, as well as an expert consultant in infectious diseases. He has participated in international clinical trials related to various therapeutic aspects of influenza B, hepatitis C, clostridial infections and COVID-19.

Research:

  • Dissertation and abstract on “Clinico-epidemiological studies on viral hepatitis in closed collectives”;
  • 2 monographs: “Infectious diseases during military missions” and “Lyme Neuroborreliosis”;
  • Participation in the writing of the textbook “Nervous diseases” with 4 chapters;
  • 172 scientific articles in scientific journals in Bulgaria and abroad, of which 18 with Impact factor and 28 with SJR.

  • 1996 – Won a competition and was elected assistant professor by the Academic Council of the MMA.

Assoc. Prof. Dimitrinka Mihaylova

Assoc. Prof. Dimitrinka Mihaylova is a specialist in pediatric rheumatology and pediatric diseases. She graduated in medicine in 1973 at the University of Medical Sciences – Sofia. Until 1976 she was a resident in the “Ambulance” and children’s ward at the District Hospital – Pernik. In 1991 he defended his thesis on “Immunological studies in systemic lupus erythematosus and juvenile chronic arthritis”.

From 1976 to 2003 he worked as assistant, senior assistant and chief assistant at the Clinic of Pediatric Rheumatology at the Scientific Institute of Pediatrics – MA. In 2003 she was elected Associate Professor of Paediatrics, and since 2004 she has been the Head of the Clinic of Paediatric Rheumatology, Cardiology and Haematology at the Hospital of Paediatric Rheumatology – Sofia.

Assoc. Mihaylova specializes and works in the field of clinical immunology in systemic connective tissue diseases. She has over 60 publications in our and foreign scientific journals, participation in congresses and conferences.

She is a member of the Bulgarian Paediatric Association, as well as the leadership of the Bulgarian Rheumatological Society. He is also a member of the European Association of Paediatric Rheumatology and a national coordinator of the Paediatric Rheumatology International (PRINTO).
